When originally drawing this print, Karen took inspiration from the phrase puppy love – illustrating a bunch of loved up pooches. However, it quickly turned into a combination of dogs and cakes based on Karen’s Instagram algorithm, which frequently shows the process of decorating the perfect cake and big puppy eyes. The design is set on a whipped cream background perfected with rainbow sprinkle trim. All that’s missing is a cherry on top.
