Shipping & returns
When will my order be dispatched?
Order before 2pm UK time, Monday to Friday, and your order will be on its way within 24 hours. Orders placed after 2pm, at weekends or on UK public holidays are dispatched the next working day. During sale periods please allow up to three working days.
How much is shipping, and where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. UK Standard is £4.95 and UK Express is £7.95. International shipping is shown in your own currency at checkout before you pay — no conversion guesswork.
And you get free shipping on any order over £200, or the equivalent in your currency, applied automatically at checkout.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping on any order over £200, or the equivalent in your currency. It's applied automatically at checkout, so there's no code to enter and nothing to claim.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Once your order is dispatched, UK orders usually arrive within 4–6 working days. Europe takes 4–8 working days, North America 5–8, Australia and New Zealand 4–7, and Asia and the Gulf 3–7. Every order is sent tracked, and you'll get a tracking number by email as soon as it leaves us.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order is dispatched we will email you a tracking number. If it hasn't arrived, have a quick look in your junk folder, and if it's still not there email us at shop@karenmabon.com and we will resend it.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
No. All duties and taxes are included in the price you pay at checkout, wherever you are in the world. Nothing extra to pay on delivery, no surprise bill from the courier, no parcel held at customs. The price you see is the price you pay.
What is your returns policy?
You are welcome to return anything for an exchange or a refund within 14 days of receiving it. Email shop@karenmabon.com and we will send you a return address, then post the item back within the following 14 days, in its original condition with any boxes and labels intact. We are not able to offer free returns, and the parcel stays your responsibility until it reaches us, so we would recommend a tracked or signed-for service. Refunds are processed as soon as your return arrives with us — please allow 3–5 working days after that for the money to appear in your account.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email shop@karenmabon.com as quickly as you can. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet we will do everything we can to catch it. Once a parcel has left us we are unfortunately not able to redirect or recall it.

Products Information
What size should I buy?
Our size guide has full measurements for every style, along with how to measure. One thing worth knowing: the figures are the garment measured flat, not body measurements. The easiest way to use them is to take a top or a pair of bottoms you already own and love the fit of, lay it flat, measure across it, and match that to the chart. Our sleepwear is cut to be lived in rather than closely fitted, so if you fall between two sizes we would suggest taking the larger one.
What fabrics do you use?
Our cotton is 100% organic and GOTS certified. Our silk pyjamas are a Mulberry silk (93%) and elastane (7%) blend — the elastane adds comfort and stops the silk tearing. Our silk scarves are 100% silk. The pyjamas carried by our international stockists are mostly made from recycled polyester satin, which is beautifully soft, and our children's range, exclusive to Harrods, is made from EcoVero, a responsibly produced viscose.
How should I care for my pieces?
Silk is dry clean only, ideally with an eco-friendly dry cleaner. Between wears you can steam it for a quick refresh or spot clean with a gentle silk detergent — please don't machine wash it, as that seriously compromises the fabric and can cause the dyes to run. Cotton and recycled polyester are machine washable at 30°C or below; line dry rather than tumble dry, and iron on the reverse if you like a crisper finish. Our full care guide has the detail for every fabric.
What are you doing about sustainability?
We're not a perfect brand, and we'd rather say that than pretend otherwise.
Our approach is to make small quantities of pieces built to last, in prints that sit outside seasonal trends, so you can buy less but better. Having our own factory helps more than it might sound — we're not chasing someone else's spare capacity or minimum order quantities, so we make what we need and not much more.
The specifics: our cotton is GOTS certified organic, our silk scarves are Seri.co certified in Italy, the polyester used by our international stockists is recycled, and our packaging — boxes, paper mailers and compostable tissue — is fully recyclable. Every supplier is audited yearly through Amfori BSCI.
There is more we want to do, and our Sustainability page is honest about where we haven't got there yet.
Where are your products made?
Every design starts at my desk in London — a drawing, done by hand, long before it's a pair of pyjamas.
From there it goes to our own factory. Not rented space on someone else's production line, and not a supplier running six other labels the same week — our factory, making only Karen Mabon. That's rare for a brand our size, and it's the reason a print arrives on silk looking the way it looked on paper.
We source from suppliers in Italy and China, all of whom hold the required compliance certificates. Our silk scarves are made in Italy and carry Seri.co certification, which covers quality, environmental standards, health and safety, and how dyes and chemicals are managed. Our cotton is GOTS certified organic. And every supplier we work with is audited every year through Amfori BSCI.
Will a print I love be restocked?
Each print is produced in a limited quantity and available for a limited time, so once one sells through it usually doesn't come back. If there's a print you have your eye on, it's worth not waiting — and joining our mailing list means you'll hear about new prints before they go live.
Where can I see your pieces in person?
We are very proud to be stocked by some of our favourite retailers around the world, including Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Harrods and Koi Bird. You can see the full list on our stockists page.
