Behind the Print: Cat Show
Karen’s love for cat’s is never ending, and of course the new collection’s star is a cat print. Taking inspiration from the popular Crufts print, Karen designed a sister print called the ‘Cat Show.’
In this print, Karen wanted to bring a heightened attention to detail so that there was something new to notice everytime you look at it. To achieve this, she drew various species of exotic cats with different textures of fur (or lack thereof). She also wanted to contrast the bright colors of the ribbons and rosettes with the natural tones of the cats to bring this print to life.
